       I am grateful to the support given by Prof. K. V. Nori, Sri Udaykumar, Smt. Bhanumathi Iyer in computerizing the manuscript with great care and respect for the work.  I am also deeply grateful to Smt. Vasantha Ravishankar, my daughter-in-law, for the care with which she has gone through the translation for the English construction.  All these have worked beyond the call of their duty.  May the devine bless them with His grace.

       I must express my gratitude to late Smt. T. Laksmi Sarojini who presented the Telugu volumes to me through Smt. T. Laksmi Kanthamma.

       Sri. F. C. Kohli suggested that I should approach Sri. S. Ramakrishnan for publication of the translation by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.  Sri Ramakrishnan received my proposal with great enthusiasm and the process for publication was set into motion.  His colleagues Sri Sankarankutty and other did a magnifificent job.

       The ambience create at my home by my wife Prabhawati, son Ravi Shankar, daughter-in-law Vasantha, made my effort less arduous – particularly by two grandchildren Aswini and Aditya who kept my writing table free from any disturbance.
